About Scivic

Welcome to an experiment: What can your average individual reasonably find and understand about how to view the complex issues of today’s world? How much of that exploration can be informed by science and objective fact?

This is a home for some guy you probably don’t know (Josh) to explore how to think about any number of complex, contentious, or curious topics — each time with a focus on synthesizing whatever facts or data are available, for his own benefit and for any others hoping to be as less-wrong as they can.

Better tomorrows welcome. Civil, critical feedback welcome. Trolls and unnecessarily loud voices not. Enjoy the ride.
